- Description:For eight weeks every summer, Camp Bell offers a
unique camping experience to Boy Scout Troops from New Hampshire
and around the country who are ready for the challenge of classic
Scouting. Camp Bell is part of Griswold Scout Reservation and is
located in Gilmanton Iron Works, New Hampshire. Troops attending
Camp Bell work on strengthening their patrol structure through
patrol cooking and day-long patrol activites. Many program areas
are built around a 1910 theme, focusing on Scout skills and the
outdoor lives lived by people almost a century ago. Camp Bell
also offers high adventure opportunites to patrols ranging from
indoor and outdoor rockclimbing to waterskiing, tubing, and
sailing. A week at Camp Bell is both a week to remember and
a springboard to even better Scouting within your Troop.
