I am the principle investigator leading the intermediate Energy Research Group (Nuclear Physics) at Dartmouth College. My primary work is with undergraduates from Dartmouth who are working at MIT-Bates lab on the BLAST project, and a number of data acquisition projects for Jefferson Lab.

I have recently written a book on quarks, at the 'Scientific America' level. Hidden Worlds: Hunting for Quarks in Ordinary Matter is published by Princton University Press

Before coming to Dartmouth I was the head of software developement for the BLAST experiment at MIT-Bates Lab, which I still am involved in. Presently I am analyzing the BLAST data for the photodisintegration of deuterium.

But the experimental world has been expanding. Recently I have joined two new collaboration, Qweak and GlueX at Jefferson Lab. For thes project we are expanding our work in the field of data acquisition.

Actually -- when it comes right down to it, I'm very interested in all the project which the Dartmouth Nuclear Physics Group (ie. half a dozen undergraduates and myself) is involved. If you want to know more about what I do, it might be best to look at the groups home page - and then click through the whole http://he3.dartmouth.edu website!
